LineUp™ series modules
The Adapt module is a pressure reducer. Placed between two pressure controllers having different input requirements, it allows one to have a system with many different pressure channel ranges. It reduces the outgoing pressure supply from the module to its left and provides the required pressure supply to the module on its right.
The LineUpTM P-SWITCH is a pneumatic valve controller. By providing two regulated pressure/vacuum, each module is able to divide the two provided pressure through 8 independent outlets. The module allows one to locally switch between the two supplied pressure/vacuum or to program pressure steps using Fluigent MAT. Using the LineUpTM P-SWITCH, one can pressurize up to 8 reservoir per module or actuate 8 pneumatic/quake valves.

Many microfluidic applications require expensive solutions to be injected at a controlled flow-rate into a microfluidic system, such as cell cultures, PCR processes, cell injections or simulation of blood capillaries with a controlled minimal mechanical stress.
Many microfluidic applications require switching between multiple solutions (such as samples or buffers) while maintaining a constant flow-rate during the course of their experiment. In this application, one MFCS™-EZ pressure channel is connected via a manifold to ten separate vials containing different aqueous solutions.
Because CTCs detection and labelling need a very precise and smooth flow control, Fluigent MFCS™ associated with the Flow-Rate Control Module and the ESS™ platform, was the designated choice to be able to efficiently control the flows of all the solutions and samples.
