Jean-Louis Viovy, PhD. 
Research Director at CNRS. Head of group «Macromolecules and Microsystems in Biology and Medicine» at Curie Institute, since 1996. Member of the board of the international Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society. Member of the Editorial Board of «Biomicrofluidics». Philip Morris Prize for Science (1996). Polymer Prize of the French Chemical Society (1996). With an initial training in chemical physics and materials, Dr Viovy now dedicates his research to lab-on-chips, bioanalytical methods and translational medicine.


Dominique Stoppa-Lyonnet, MD, PhD.
Head of the Genetics Department of Institut Curie since June 2000. Professor of Genetics at the University Paris Descartes, Member of the National Consultative Ethics Committee, Member of the Cancer Genetics board of National Cancer Institute (INCa), Member of the Medical and Scientific committee of the Biomedicine Agency. René Fauvert Prize 1990, awarded by the hôpitaux de Paris (Paris hospital medical research fund). Académie Nationale de Chirurgie Prize (French Academy of Surgery), 2002, «Le mois du Cancer du sein, 2004» prize (funded by the Estee Lauder Fondation), Henry et Mary-Jeanne Mitjaville prize (2007) of the French National Academy of Medicine.


Jacques Lewiner, PhD.
Professor at Ecole Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles of the city of Paris (ESPCI ParisTech). From 1987 to 2001, he was the scientific director of the School under Pierre-Gilles de Gennes as director. He has published more than 80 scientific papers in international journals and has presented at numerous international conferences. He has filed more than 150 patent applications, some of them having large-scale industrial developments. He is Laureate of the French Academy of Sciences in 1990 and Member of the French Academy of Technology since 2005.
